Visit East Riddlesden Hall for free and discover some of the different chapters of our history through the lives of the people who lived here.

East Riddlesden Hall has had many colourful residents in the last 400 years, from the Murgatroyd's and their ambitious building plans to the tenant farmers with award winning cattle. Step inside this 17th century farming manor for free on Heritage Open Days and discover their stories.

Visit the tearoom for delicious homemade cakes, sandwiches and lunches or pack up a picnic and head to our outdoor picnic areas. Wander through beautiful gardens, including the formal gardens where you can pull up a deckchair and soak up the sunshine - weather permitting!

East Riddlesden Hall has two play areas for our younger visitors, a trim trail to test your balancing and climbing skills and the Discovery Garden - complete with a mud pie kitchen, castle, boat and wheelbarrows. The perfect place to let your imagination run wild. Enjoy a gentle stroll along the river bank and lower fields, see what wildlife you can spot along the waters edge.

Guided tours of the house are at 11am and 1:30pm. Numbers are limited to 15 people.

By road on south side of the Bradford Road in Riddlesden, close to Leeds & Liverpool Canal. A629 relief road from Shipley and Skipton signed for East Riddlesden Hall Parking: free, 100 yards By train Keighley station 1.5 miles away, around a 25 minute walk to the site. Crossflatts station 2.2 miles away, around a 50 minute walk. By bus The Shuttle 662 bus service operated by Transdev provides a frequent, every 15 or 20 minute, service Monday to Sunday between Bradford, Shipley, Saltaire, Bingley, Riddlesden and Keighley. The bus stop for East Riddlesden Hall is “Bradford Road West Lea Road”. Cycling cycle racks available

Booking conditions:
House tours run at 11am and 1:30pm and last approximately 1 hour. Tickets must be collected from visitor welcome on the day. They are available on a first come first serve basis. Collection will be limited to 2 per person. For large groups tickets will have to be collected individually.
