St Peter’s Church, Brandon

Jessie from Olive Art House will be leading creative craft workshops for visitors to enjoy throughout the day.

Take a guided walk with Reverend Dennis as he shares the rich history of St Peter’s Church and join local foraging expert Joanne Norris to discover what can be safely eaten from nature, along with seasonal recipe ideas.

Local historian Mike Willett will deliver a fascinating talk on flint knapping, a craft for which Brandon is renowned, while Town Keeper Ali will share insights into the wildlife and management of the churchyard.

Visitors can also enjoy listening to bell ringing, poetry readings inspired by local history and the environment, and live music recitals from talented local musicians throughout the day.

A selection of local makers’ stalls will offer unique gifts, with refreshments available to purchase.
