Everyday Histories at Grimsby Minster

We will be open as usual throughout the HODs festival from 9.30am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday. Step inside for delicious treats in the cafe, pick up information on what' s happening across North East Lincolnshire during HODs 2026, and on Wednesday 16th or Friday 18th join a guided tour inside the Minster (book on the day).
Join us on Saturday 19th Sept for:
- tours of the ringing chamber up in the tower (no higher, due to health and safety) will take place every hour from 10am - 1pm, lasting approximately 45 min. This is limited to 10 people per tour (children are permitted but must be accompanied by an adult, and children under 10 are not permitted to ring a bell). - Guided tours of the inside of the Minster, which will cover the history of the building, the choir, and the stained-glass windows. These are every hour from 10am - 2pm. Please sign up for these in the Minster when you arrive.
- The Minster choir will make a special appearance at 11am.
- Hammond House book fair will be in the south aisle, along with a soundscape in the square
