The Community Group & Parishioners of St Michael's church, Upton Warren, welcome visitors to look & hear about landmarks, the people, and changes to the local area with the passage of time.

**Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event is no longer able to take place**

St Michael's is nestled in the heart of Upton Warren village. It is one of three churches in the District of Stoke Prior, Wychbold and Upton Warren. The church is regularly used by the local community for coffee mornings and other social events.
During the HODs Festival we will be providing refreshments and enthusiastic locals waiting to share the stories of this 13th century Grade II* Church, and its evolving relationship with the community.
Located nearby are the Transmitting Masts of Wychbold providing a crucial role informing various resistance groups on mainland Europe during WWII. Also local to the Church is the 'Village' of Wychbold and an interesting talk and exhibition about the Village before and after the M5 is planned.

This event was supported by leading family history website, Findmypast, who provided access to their records as part of their sponsorship of ‘Everyday Histories’, the festival theme. Discover your ancestors' stories at findmypast.co.uk
