The Methley Archive will once again share some of their extensive local collection at Rivers Meet Cafe for Heritage Open Days.

In past times Methley was largely agricultural but then came the advance of the coal mines. Through photographs, drawings and descriptions Methley Archive will introduce you to the working lives of the people who kept the village 'fed and watered' as well as those who brought industry to the village. You can visit the Archive's website at https://www.methleyarchive.org for more information about the village and its heritage.
