Exclusive Haughmond Abbey Guided Tours

The extensive remains of an Augustinian abbey, including its abbots’ quarters, refectory and cloister. The substantially surviving chapter house has a frontage richly bedecked with 12th- and 14th-century carving and statuary, and a fine timber roof of around 1500.

As part of the 2025 Heritage Open Doors Festival, English Heritage are offering free exclusive guided tours around the site. Tours are available at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm on the 15, 18 ,19 September and 11:00 am on 13, 16 and 20 September. The tours are approx. 1 hour long. Dogs welcome on leads. ours are suitable to ages 8 and above. Donations welcome.
