12-17 September 1000-1800 The Pocket 75 High Street Bideford EX39 2AA – exhibition ‘Transformed by War’ and the role of ports in WWII. This bouldering and climbing centre occupies the building that was previously Woolworths and Factory Shop and shows how retail spaces can be transformed into different uses as shopping habits change. Bouldering is a stripped-down form of climbing where the challenge is to work out the sequence of moves to conquer the short but tricky bouldering “problems”, making up a route.
