Eye Town Hall Eye Heritage Pop up Museum

There will be a pop up museum in the main hall of the Eye Town Hall for the Sunday celebrating the local history of Eye. The indoor display will offer historical information about Eye in World War 2. The USAAF 490th Bombardment Group will be represented with a display of items and uniforms from WW2 when they were based at the Eye Airfield over 80 years ago.

Participants on the tours need to be aware that Eye is an old town with narrow and uneven pavements. When you arrive at the town hall people with restricted mobility the access is via the side door next to the Red telephone box and to the left of the main door. .
