Fabrica & Holy Trinity Tour: Hidden Histories
40 Duke Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 1AG
This free tour will run twice, starting at: 4pm and 6pm
Find out more about the history of our building's architectural and social history in central Brighton and the impact of leading figures across the ages, from nationally recognised artisans and religious personalities to locally prominent individuals who have helped create this unique building that continues to represent and present current social challenges of the era.
Doors open 15 minutes before the tour starts so people can arrive in good time, access Fabrica’s charity cafe-bar, shop and facilities. Tours will start on the hour and there will be time afterwards for questions, chat, and a final look around the space.
The café will be available on site for hot drinks and snacks.
Suitable for all ages, this is an accessible tour on a site with a ramp entrance and disabled access loos.
Developed as part of Past:Present:Future, a Heritage Lottery funded project in which we researched the history of our 200 year old building, and presented a series of events and materials as part of this learning. Our book will be available to buy on the day in our gift shop, and is also available online.
