Enjoy a guided walk of Royal Clarence Victualling Yard, the former supply base for the Navy...

Hear about how this victualling yard developed over time from the mid-1700s, with a focus on the supply of food and drink to the Royal Navy (it was once referred to as 'the larder of the Navy'), and with associated inventions and innovations.  You'll learn about the buildings and stories of areas as you pass through, and enjoy a peppering of anecdotes about the people who have lived and worked within the yard.
