Would you like to know more about your family history? How does family history relate to local and social history? Come to Norwich Cathedral to find out more from the teams from Findmypast and Norwich Cathedral.

Norwich Cathedral has been at the heart of everyday life in the city for centuries. In the surrounding streets, bakers, publicans and doctors shaped their communities. Local family heroes are remembered here, as are the challenges and achievements of women down the generations. With the help of experts from Findmypast and Norwich Cathedral, we're uncovering and celebrating these everyday histories for Heritage Open Days 2026. Talks throughout the day, touchscreen access to the Findmypast website, explore the Cathedral and the surrounding area.
