First Church of Christ, Scientist, Oxford
36A St. Giles, Oxford, Oxfordshire, OX1 3LD
The church membership acquired its present site in St Giles' in 1933 and our new purpose-designed edifice and Sunday School were built in 1986 replacing the old church building. In 2004, the Reading Room moved to its separate, pavilion-style accommodation built in the grounds. The quiet and pretty courtyard garden was remodelled, with a pool and fountain added, together with a glazed canopy entrance.
We will be available to show the church building, Sunday school, and Reading room.
