A little Carnegie gem with loads of extras for all the family on Heritage Open Day.

Back for 2026 - The King's Lynn Library may have moved top new location in the Town Centre but it will be open for an opportunity to look around an iconic Lynn building that is no longer open to the general public.

Enjoy free activities for all ages, including guided tours, a memory wall to share your stories of the library, a hands on book mark making station and a special exhibition.

Lynn's distinctive Edwardian Grade 2 Listed Carnegie Library was opened in 1905 by James Carnegie the Scottish born American Industrialist and philanthropist, who donated the money to establish it.
