On Fridays 11 and 18 September entry to the Seaside Museum will be FREE.
Admission usually £4/£3 concessions, children 16 and under go free.

Secrets of the Seashore - Imagine a time when mammoths roamed the foreshore and Neolithic man worked stone into fine tools. See prehistoric mammoth tusks and fossils from Herne Bay’s beaches, including shark teeth! Learn to identify the wildlife which still inhabits this ever-changing coastline.
Settlers, Seafarers and Smugglers - See beautiful treasures from Saxon and early Explore Herne Bay’s days as a seaport to carry goods from London to Canterbury, when Nelson anchored his fleet offshore and smugglers fought a deadly battle with the Excise men on the beaches. Learn how the people of Herne Bay struggled through storm and ice to overcome the power of the sea.
