Enjoy free entry to The Commandery on Sunday 20 September to celebrate the Heritage Open Days Festival!

Discover the everyday histories of the people who have lived at The Commandery. Read about the Wylde and Dandridge families as you explore, and see if you can spot the clues around the building of how it used to be divided into separate dwellings.

Children can let off steam in the walled gardens, explore the nature play area, and get dressed up on their way around The Commandery!

Head to Little Al’s Kitchen at The Commandery café for hot drinks and homemade food.

Cycle racks can be found adjacent to Little Al's Kitchen at The Commandery by the canal. The Commandery is on the picturesque Worcester and Birmingham canal, which is a short way from Diglis Basin and the River Severn. If you are travelling by train, Worcester Foregate Street Station is a 12-minute walk from The Commandery, and Shrub Hill Station is a 16-minute walk. The Commandery does not offer on-site parking; however, nearby car parks include: King Street (Sidbury), Worcester, WR1 2NX Commandery Road, A38 (Bath Road), Worcester, WR1 2HY NCP Multi-storey Car Park, College Street, Worcester, WR1 2LU
