Friends Meeting House

The Quaker Meeting House was built in 1673 with an attached Warden's house added in 1810; further alterations and additions in 1726, 1810 and 1865.
Although the mid-C15 Weavers Hall, Cirencester’s oldest domestic building still in residential use, will NOT be open to visitors, its Trustees are pleased to introduce an 18-minute Virtual Visitor Experience video to be shown nearby in Friends Meeting House. “Weavers’ Hall or St Thomas’s Hospital: five centuries of history in Cirencester” describes the historic features of the building and its wider significance over time.
