Fulwood Old Chapel was built in 1729 as a meeting house for dissenters. Visitors will be able to see the inside of the Chapel and view an exhibition on the Chapel and Fulwood through the ages.

Fulwood Old Chapel was built for local Protestant Dissenters who previously had gathered in the home of John Fox at ‘Fullwood Hall’. The Chapel’s 2-foot thick walls, outer doors and mullioned windows are original. A chapel house and schoolroom were added in 1754. Innovations to the interior have taken place in the 20th century and the garden was redesigned more recently. The Chapel is used regularly for worship and community events.
