Discover the story of his life and art in beautifully restored 18th-century surroundings. Nestled among the greenery, you can also admire a striking series of sculptures by artist Helaine Blumenfeld OBE, adding a contemporary touch to this historic setting.

The Gainsborough Gallery is a highlight not to be missed, displaying an outstanding collection of the artist's masterpieces that bring his remarkable career to life. Visitors can also discover new perspectives on the British landscape through a series of contemporary responses by Norfolk artist Kate Giles, created to mark the 250th anniversary of John Constable's birth. Explore David Dawson's striking large-scale paintings of his native countryside in Wales, celebrating the enduring power of landscape.

Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy a range of free activities for all ages, including family-friendly creative activities, an art trail, demonstrations of the Camera Obscura, and opportunities to learn more about Gainsborough's life.
