Explore the glorious Gawthorpe Hall, this year as well as exploring inside the Hall you can also visit the Walled Garden, Great Barn and take a guided walk led by the Ranger around the wider estate.

Come and explore the fabulous historic rooms of Gawthorpe Hall and discover the home and estate of the Shuttleworth family – all open for FREE.
Explore the beautiful rooms and find out about family members such as Sir James Kay-Shuttleworth who created the British education system and visitors such as Charlotte Bronte. Enjoy the wonderful Gawthorpe Textiles Collection displays; meet the housekeeper in the basement kitchen and see the hidden Victorian toilet by the Long Gallery.
Outside you can explore the Walled Garden and the Great Barn which is open for the first time in over 10 years! Join the National Trust Ranger for guided walks around the grounds, including to nearby All Saints Church, also open 12pm – 4pm.
