Explore the beautiful rooms and find out about family members such as Sir James Kay-Shuttleworth who created the British education system and visitors such as Charlotte Bronte. Enjoy the wonderful Gawthorpe Textiles Collection displays; meet the housekeeper in the basement kitchen and see the hidden Victorian toilet by the Long Gallery.
Outside you can explore the Walled Garden and the Great Barn which is open for the first time in over 10 years! Join the National Trust Ranger for guided walks around the grounds, including to nearby All Saints Church, also open 12pm – 4pm.

Gawthorpe Hall is a tower shaped building over 4 floors with a lot of steps, due to the historic nature of the building there is no lift. Please see the Access Statement for more details or ring to check.
