The Girlguiding Heritage Exhibition celebrates the history, achievements and lasting impact of one of the UK's most influential youth organisations. Since its formation in 1910, Girlguiding has inspired millions of girls and young women to develop confidence, leadership skills and lifelong friendships through adventure, service and personal achievement.
The exhibition traces the movement's journey from its early beginnings, showcasing historic uniforms, badges, photographs and handbooks that illustrate how Guiding has evolved over more than a century. Visitors can explore the experiences of members through different decades, discovering how girls contributed to their communities during times of social change, including both World Wars and the modern era.
