God's Work: Music from Haydn's The Creation

Haydn’s Creation is among the most joyous and uplifting pieces of music ever written. Its celebration of God’s work of creation is based on Genesis and John Milton’s famous poem, Paradise Lost. TheTavistock Heritage Chorus will be performing extracts from Haydn’s best-known choral work.

This event marks the end of the 2026 Tavistock Heritage Open Days.

There will be a brief closing address from the Mayor of Tavistock, Anne Johnson
