Goole - a walking tour

A walk focusing on Goole between 1826-1850. The Aire and Calder Navigation opened the Company Town of Goole in 1826. The walking tour will explore the surviving architecture of the Georgian town and the history of its development and decline. You will find out about Goole’s London connections, where you would spend the night for drunken disorderly (and how you would end there) and features of Goole’s Company town architecture.
