The church and crypt will be open with guides available to conduct tours

Visit and explore the Victorian Church of St John the Evangelist. The interiors feature plaques, memorials and stained glass windows which detail the local history of the Port and Town of Goole. Of national significance is a rare portrait stained glass window dedicated to Lt. Ernest Conway Lansdale, one of the victims of the Red Barron. Between 10-00 and 12-00 there will be free hot drinks and breakfast sandwiches available in the Spire centre, opposite the church, and tours will be conducted in the crypt chapel. The open day will also feature a display of WW1 and local history memorabilia.
