  • | Walk / Tour

Part of Wellington Walking Festival. We walk most of this trail which explores the industrial history of North East Telford, returning to Wellington by bus.

From Oakengates bus station we will make our way to the Nabb, where we join the trail itself passing through Wrockwardine Woods, Central Hall, Muxton Marsh, Granville Country Park and Redhill Nature Reserve.
Along the way we will learn about the heritage of the area, before reaching the Nabb to make our way back to Oakengates and the return bus to Wellington.
The route is steep in parts (with and without steps) and utilises beaten paths through green spaces which may be wet and slippery.
Bring a packed lunch & bus fare/pass.
Estimated Return to Wellington 15:00.
Led by Carol Round.
Moderate. 7.5 miles. 4 Hours. (walk time)
Please see our other 6 events too .
