Grave Designs at Grantham's Hidden Burial Ground
Old Burial Ground, Manthorpe Road, Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 8DB
Over a hundred headstones survive and most were carved by skilled engravers using Swithland slate from Leicestershire or Welsh slate from North Wales brought to Grantham by the canal from Nottingham. The book by Janice Webb, Grantham's Hidden Graveyard Revealed (2015) will be on sale (£8 cash only please).
