Time travel to an astonishing and unique Victorian village school, lovingly restored by Sally North, who brings the place to life as she steps into her schoolmistress character. Visitors can immerse themselves in old-fashioned lessons and school routines, practise hymns to the harmonium or melodeon, explore natural history exhibits, and play traditional games in the meadow. Experience the sights, sounds, and values of a bygone era in a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
The school will be especially open for Heritage Open Days on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of September, from 11am to 4 pm.
