Great Yarmouth Row Houses consist of Row 111 House and the Old Merchant’s House that were built in the early 17th century as wealthy merchants’ residences, but later sub-divided into tenements.

Great Yarmouth Row Houses are directly behind the South Quay Gallery on the Historic South Quay. Accessibility details

Inside Row 111 House, access is via two steep steps from the front entrance. Ramped access is available from the side entrance should it be required. Access to the upper floors is via steep stairs only. Steep spiral stairwells and small stepped areas from inside to outside throughout both properties. There is no designated disabled parking at site. There is no direct access to the site for vehicles, however visitors can be dropped in the adjacent car park or at the end of the Row, both of which have sloped access to the site.

Both houses contain a wonderful collection of fixtures and fitting rescued from other now demolished dwellings.
