Guided tour and Exhibition of the history of Collyweston

Collyweston was once the favourite home of Lady Margaret Beaufort who built a fine palace here. Whilst nothing remains of the building, the village has a long and important history. Your guide's family have connections with the village stretching back over 500 years.
Your guide will explain the history of the buildings and the villages Royal Connections. The tour ends in St Andrew's Church where there is a small exhibition of Village History including artefacts found in the site.
Maximum group size of 8 people. Please contact us for details. Tours take approximately 2 hours, please note Collyweston is on a hill and not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Collyweston is situated on a Hill. Most of the tour is on footpaths but two areas are on uneven grassland.
You are welcome to visit our exhibition in the Lady/Tryon Chapel at St Andrew's Church on High Street which is open for visitors every day. If visiting a Sunday please check Church service times before travelling.
