We will open the Aldbourne Heritage Centre for the whole of Wednesday 16th Sept, and offer guided tours of the village: 10am and 11am for general history tour, 2pm and 3pm for Band of Brothers tours

Centre to be open from 10am-4:30pm.

Tours as described above, no need to pre-book. General history tours would last around an hour. Band of Brothers and hour and a half

Accessibility details

Hertage Centre is on ground floor accessed direct from street, low kerb. Parking is in a public area, which had dedicated disabled places. Tour will involved off-road (turf areas)

Additional information

Aldbourne was the British home of the Band of Brothers (Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division), but it also has a long history with many others interesting aspects , particularly including the manufacture of bells. The Heritage Centre holds archeological finds (including but not limited to the Band of Brothers), bells and numerous other items
