Enjoy a guided tour of the last surviving post mill in Leicestershire, now cared for by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) and its Mills Section.
Kibworth Harcourt Post Mill was in a sorry state, but thankfully a generous grant enabled us to bring it back to its former glory over the past few years.
On your visit, you'll learn all about the fascinating history of the mill, see its newly-functioning historic machinery in action, and spot the mysterious ancient graffiti and protection marks that daub its interior.
This Grade II* listed windmill and Scheduled Ancient Monument is rarely open to the public other than for National Mills Weekend in May and Heritage Open Days in September, so don't miss out!

Accessibility details
There is no wheelchair access to the site due to steep steps. Children must be accompanied at all times. There are no toilets on site, but there are some at the Windmill Farm Park next door.
