Guided Walk at Norman Cross - site of The Napoleonic Prisoner of War camp
Norman Cross site, London Road, Norman Cross, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE7 3TB
Come along for an engaging guided walk and talk about the history of Norman Cross - the site of the Napoleonic Prisoner of War Camp, led by the esteemed Paul Chamberlain, author of *The Napoleonic Prison of Norman Cross: The Lost Town of Huntingdonshire*.
The Scheduled Monument Norman Cross site has recently come under the ownership of Nene Park Trust, with support and funding from Historic England and The National Lottery Heritage Fund - hence why we can access the site in this way for the first time.
Spaces on the walk are limited to just 30 participants, and booking is essential. The event is free, but donations are welcome to support our ongoing initiatives to bring this site's fascinating story to the public.
