Come on a guided walk around the fascinating site of the Norman Cross Napoleonic Prison Depot. Our passionate volunteers will bring the story of this unique heritage site to life.

Norman Cross Prisoner of War depot operated from 1797-1814 and in that time housed nearly 7000 prisoners. It is thought to be the first purpose built prisoner of war camp in the World! Although now just a field, there are so many fascinating stories about the camp, its inhabitants and the craftwork produced there, this guided walk with our volunteer guides will bring it all to life. The guided walk lasts about an hour.
