Gunn’s Mill retains more of its original built fabric than any other charcoal fired blast furnace of the same period in Western Europe. Seize this rare opportunity for a guided hard-hat tour of a fascinating and complex industrial archaeological site. If you have been driving past it for years, this is your chance to satisfy your curiosity about the ongoing program of repairs.
Please wear stout footwear (no high heels or sandals) as the ground is uneven and is unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Hard hats and Hi-Vis vests will be provided.
No dogs on site please. Not suitable for kids under 12. On site Parking

Directions:
From Mitcheldean, drive past Dene Magna School and follow road to the lowest level of the valley. The Mill is on the right hand side. From Littledean take road left next to The Belfry Pub at valley level.
