Haden Old Hall Open Day.

Haden Hill House, Lee Road, Cradley Heath, West Midlands, B64 7HS

  • 21 Sep 2025
  • In person
  • Pre-booking not required

Visit Haden Old Hall first built in the late 1600s for the up and coming Haden family. It now stands next to the Victorian Haden Hill House (a museum). The Hall has been much altered but has a fascinating tale to tell.

Despite rumours of the Haden family coming over with William the Conqueror and parts of the house dating back to medieval times there is no real evidence of the Haden family until the 1600s when they are part of the up and coming middling sort and one of the wealthiest families in the area.

The family built a new Victorian house behind the Old Hall in the 1870s so the two houses stand side by side. The Hall has been much altered over the centuries but has a fascinating tale to tell.

The Victorian House is run as a museum so you can also visit this wonderful house too along with the 55 acres of parkland.
