The Grade I listed Guild Room and Gardens will be open to the public. This building and garden is usually only open for private hire events so rarely seen. Exhibition on the theme of Working Lives. Refreshments available to purchase.

Hadleigh Market Feoffment Charity has held the beautiful Town Hall & Guildhall Complex in trust for the people of this historic Suffolk market town since 1438. Situated on the opposite side of the churchyard to St Mary's Church, many local residents and visitors remain unaware that this Grade 1* listed building has a number of magnificent rooms and a secluded garden area.

The building has had various uses since 1438 including workhouse, corn exchange, fire engine house, educational and civic.

There will be exhibitions on the theme of Working Lives:

Mop Fairs - jobs in Service

The gardens will also be open (weather permitting), in which sits a the ruins of a medieval kitchen, many of the original features still visible.
