Handsworth Museum is situated in the stable range adjoining St Mary’s Parish Church, dating back to circa 1800. It is a registered Grade II listed building.

Our museum boasts a diverse collection of local history and memorabilia, including a 1613 copy of the King James Bible, tithe maps, local records, intriguing displays, and historical games available for interaction. It also features an exquisite eighteenth-century dovecote room, exemplifying architectural heritage accessible right in our community.

Directions:
Behind St Mary's parish church off Handsworth Road, follow directions to St Mary's hub. Access to the first-floor museum is via the stairs (twenty steps, no lift) from the Parish Centre courtyard. Follow the signs from the church.
