Bailey's Wood, Grange Park Road, Blackley, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M9 7AF
Ever wondered how people in Blackley celebrated the harvest in times past? What sort of celebrations did people have back when all this was fields? Join us for a unique event - a harvest celebration in the atmospheric setting of our little patch of ancient woodland in North Manchester!
This event is suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet us at the Grange Park Road entrance to the woods to walk to the location of the talk.
This event is part of the Friends of Bailey's Wood Harvest Day, showcasing the farming history and heritage of Blackley and Bailey's Wood. It's a free event, and part of Heritage Open Days 2025.
