Haslemere Signal Box and Station Museum

The Signal Box has many original features including an interlocking lever frame together with signal and point levers. There is a residual track diagram and an indication of how trains were managed efficiently, effectively and - most importantly - safely between adjacent signal boxes. The Signal Box itself is complemented by a small museum with several signalling exhibits. There are also two model railway layouts, one of which is of a local station which was previously nearby and another on of Haslemere Station itself which is still under construction.

- The Signal Box is approached from the small car park to the left of the station building as you face it. The Museum is through a bright green door at the left hand end of the station building adjacent to the Haslemere Information Hub.

Both sites include steps, in one case outside. The other is relatively narrow and has several turns.
