Heave! Stories of Gosport and Sail Training

Since sail training can be difficult to define, Heave! brings it to life through the personal stories of Gosport residents who have experienced it first-hand. These are people who have sailed on a variety of sail training vessels. Their story is balanced with the 'official' description of what sail training is, along with some illustrations of tall ships sailing and trainees taking part.

This exhibition was created by Gosport Museum of the Sea CIC, a project to celebrate all the non-military connections that Gosport has with the sea.
