Heresy and Orthodoxy Tour

The tour is entitled 'Heresy and Orthodoxy' and deals with Monastic Orders, Religious Sects; Cults, Zealots and Iconoclasts and the ideas which led to the Reformation, some of which still underpin European culture and society.
This tour includes some of some of the history of Byland and the Cistercians, the rise and fall of monasticism in Britain and Europe and an outline of what happened with the Dissolution of the Monasteries.
