Frogmore Paper Mill

At Frogmore Paper Mill, we celebrate the huge contribution that paper has played in shaping the world in which we live today. This stretch of the River Gade was chosen by the Fourdriniers, The British Paper Company, and John Dickinson, to establish businesses that would change the locality and have international impact. For paper, this is where the Industrial Revolution began.
Frogmore is still a working paper mill. After the 2022 fire, some areas are still under repair, but our historic machines and many of the buildings can be seen with a guide.

The main visitor entrance is on Durrants Hill Road, directly across the road from the public car park. (Please disregard sat nav, which will take you to the office gate.)
