Heritage Open Day at Locksbrook Campus
Locksbrook Campus, Locksbrook Road, Bath, Somerset, BA1 3EL
The Locksbrook building plays a significant part in the City of Bath's architectural and cultural heritage and is an outstanding place for teaching and learning creative practices in design and the arts. Building on a heritage of creative excellence, the Grimshaw reworking of the original Herman Miller “Action Factory” embraces its history, readies it for the future, and enables the fantastic thinking-through-making embedded in our students’ work. It is a building of layers, from its industrial past, through its award-winning reworking, to the vibrant workshops and studios where our students now create and leave their own mark.
On this Heritage Open Day, we invite you on to our Locksbrook Campus to learn about the living heritage of this building, and how it creatively balances the conservation of its past with the needs of its current and future users.

The building itself is award-winning and of great architectural interest - and inside it is filled with the creativity and energy of our students.
