Join The Parks Trust for a fantastic guided ride exploring some of the heritage sites in the north of Milton Keynes. The ride will meet at Floodplain Forest Nature Reserve, Manor Farm Court Car Park, before setting off on a scenic circular route through north MK.
This free event requires no booking—simply turn up and enjoy the ride. The pace will be gentle and beginner-friendly, making it ideal for families and those looking for a relaxed group cycle. The total distance is approximately 12km (7 miles) and will take around 90 to 120 minutes to complete.
Please note there are no public toilets or cafés at the start or finish, so bring a drink to stay hydrated. Participants should wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and activity. We strongly recommend wearing a correctly fitted cycle helmet that meets current safety standards. Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult, and all riders should feel confident cycling in a small group.
The route follows a mix of leisure routes and Redways, with short sections on-road or along trails. Highlights include the Ouse Valley, Loughton Valley, Bancroft Villa, Bradwell Abbey and Bradwell Windmill. This ride is slightly longer and hillier than usual, but extra time will be allowed.
