Heritage Plaques of Harrogate

The aim of this walking tour is to introduce people to the Brown Heritage Plaques of Harrogate. The route will be around the town centre Civic area, stopping at each plaque to look at who or what it commemorates. Taken together they give an impression of the spa history of Harrogate and some of the businesses and people that made the town.

The walk is around the town centre. Toilets (including disabled facilities) at Crescent Gardens. Free (disc) or chargeable metered on-street parking, and town-centre car parks.
Additional information
Although no refreshments are offered there are plenty of places in the town centre. Please bring water, sun-cream, sun-hat, umbrellas, as appropriate on the day.
