Lowestoft Town Council is proud to present the Heritage Skills Market, a vibrant celebration of traditional crafts and community creativity, taking place on Saturday 13th September 2025, from 10am to 4pm at The Triangle Market in Lowestoft. This free event is part of the national Heritage Open Days programme, which celebrates England’s rich cultural heritage.

Visitors will be treated to a lively and interactive day filled with demonstrations, hands-on activities, and performances that honour the skills and stories of our past.

Included in the day is:
- Traditional Signwriter
- Ceramic Artistry
- Knitting and Crochet
- Traditional Caulking and Ropework
- Clay Tile Making
- Blacksmithing

Alongside live music from Aartwork, food and drink stalls and fun activities, this event is a wonderful opportunity to meet local makers, learn about heritage crafts, and celebrate the creative spirit of Lowestoft and surround region. Whether you're a curious visitor, a budding artist, or simply looking for a fun and educational day out, the Heritage Skills Market offers something for everyone.

This event is organised by the Lowestoft Town Hall Project with funding supporting from East Suffolk Council.
