Hilary Jones, vice-chair of The Milestone Society, will look at how we find our way around now and in the past. She will explore the development of Turnpike Roads, explain their importance to milestones and look at the variety of designs across the country.

There will be time from questions at the end. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate also available to purchase
