Highfields College built in 1839 is an iconic building located just outside the center of town on the highfields over looking the town. Having suffered in the hands of its previous owner. This beautiful building has been repurposed securing its future. The delightful building has had the hallways filled with interesting snippets of the history of the site. The building has been repaired to a high standard with some telling updates. The building has been developed to secure its future. The building has been retrofitted with a large array of solar panels and a biomass heating system, that is carbon neutral.

Tower One of 4 imposing towers on the building. This one having been repaired, to make sure it wont collapse. Some time in the past the building suffered a fire this was repaired and again in 2000 extensive work was carried on the building where some shoddy work lead to the new owners having to make essential work to secure a potential collapse was prevented

Gold Medal Award Probably the only Gold medal award in existence. These were donated by wealthy benefactor to pupils who made high achievements. Having researched the medals a whole section has been made in the building highlighting the history of the Highfield medals

A grand grade II listed building built in Georgian gothic Style. A classic piece of Pritchett architecture. The vast hallways and corridors have been filled with history of the building. A plotted history has been researched by the current owner. Displaying what has been researched, showing a history from 1839 to the present day. Besides the evidence on the walls we have a display cabinet showing artefacts from a bygone past. This year we will have on display for the first time some of the silver medals awarded to various pupils for their achievements.
