Grade II Listed 17th century timber framed and thatched cottages once home to framework knitters and now a local history museum. Cottage garden and tearoom.

The only remaining thatched cottages in Hinckley now celebrating 30 years as a museum. New displays include `Design for the knitting industry`, the trial run of the first Hansom Cab in 1835, Hinckley`s Town Crier, and a local connection to the Women`s Land Army. 1745 framework knitting machine and a collection of working hosiery machines.
Tearoom serving Fairtrade drinks and snacks. Children`s dressing up area and Victorian style toys to play with.
