Follow the route of the Cantley Race Track where the 1st running of the St. Leger Sweepstakes took place

For half a century, from 1727m racing at Doncaster took place on a course on Cantley Common, in the Parish of Cantley.

This year is the 250th anniversary of the St. Leger Stakes, one of the original classic races in the racing calendar. This walk will be a gentle leisurely stroll around the route of the Cantley Common race track, where the first running of the St. Leger Stakes took place.
