History as a Living Topic
National Centre For Writing, Dragon Hall, 115-123 King Street, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 1QE
How can we make history feel relevant to our lives today? Stuart Hobday will explore the idea of presenting history as a living topic in order to bring stories and places of the past alive to us all. He will also share how this principle has been the guiding force behind developing and launching the Norwich History Festival.
Stuart Hobday is former Director of Norwich Arts Centre and is the founder of both Norwich Science Festival and Norwich History Festival. He has also authored two books about Harriet Martineau.
